Positive: It's an understatement to say our host, Eva, was absolutely amazing and made us feel right at home! She stayed up late to help us settle in, since we couldn't arrive until around 10 pm. She kindly went out of her way to make us some tasty food and even brought a bottle of wine when we couldn't find any open options since we arrived so late. Our entire stay was super pleasant, and the views are great. The atmosphere is very homey, and access to an industrial kitchen was an awesome option I've never experienced before. It's a great place to meet people, and they host lots of outdoor group events, like BBQs and game nights, to give guests opportunities to mingle. It's a short walk from the local bus stop, which takes you right into town and directly to the local train station for easy hopping around.
Negative: The walk up the hill to the property was a little steep, so probably not the best place for seniors/disabled individuals without proper planning. But if you're able-bodied, it's not a big deal at all. Everything else was great!
Summary: Eva was beyond accommodating and went above and beyond every step of the way. 11/10!

Positive: The location provided us a stunning lake Thun view. We spent most of our time there on the balcony. We booked a room for a few nights and the bed was comfortable and Eva and her family were very kind to us. She allowed us to use a coffee maker and a fridge on the ground floor as we didn’t have either in our room.
Negative: We booked this location purely for the washer/dryer access as we had been traveling for about 2 weeks prior. It was great to have, but the cycles took multiple hours each and there is only one dryer with two washers, so we felt like we were in the way and it was quite a hassle to do any laundry. Our bathroom’s shower curtain was too short for the shower so the entire bathroom floor would get splashed with water when showering. The room was quite small and not much space to set anything down due to decorations everywhere.
Summary: Great location near Interlaken. Book an apartment instead of just a room.

Positive: The view was out of this world! The room was quite small, but it was just the sort of place you'd want to stay for your first time in Switzerland. Beds were comfortable but the bathroom's a one-person deal. It's a little out of the way, but we enjoyed the small town and the restaurants there. Much nicer than in Interlaken itself for noise and crowds.
Summary: Eva was a perfect hostess and helped with all our needs - the view was incredible day or night.
